Eve Air Mobility has signed its second binding agreement with Tokyo-based AirX, a Japanese air mobility services provider. The deal includes the purchase of up to 50 eVTOL aircraft and marks a major step toward advancing sustainable urban air mobility solutions in Japan.

The agreement strengthens Eve’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region, which is emerging as a key market for advanced air mobility. Company leadership highlighted that the partnership goes beyond a commercial milestone, positioning both firms at the forefront of redefining urban transportation through cleaner, smarter, and more efficient aviation solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, AirX will integrate Eve’s eVTOL aircraft into its operations to support zero-emission urban and regional travel.
The first two aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2029, with scope for further expansion depending on market demand and operational needs.

AirX stated that the collaboration aligns with its long-term vision of providing innovative and sustainable air transport services in Japan. The partnership is expected to enhance AirX’s role in the evolving air mobility ecosystem while supporting national goals for greener transportation alternatives.

Eve’s eVTOL aircraft are designed to offer safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly travel. The aircraft use advanced technology to reduce noise and emissions while improving passenger comfort, making them suitable for dense urban environments and short-distance routes.

The eVTOLs are planned to be deployed on sightseeing and last-mile connectivity routes in major cities such as Tokyo and Osaka. This agreement further expands Eve Air Mobility’s global footprint and reflects the growing worldwide demand for advanced and sustainable air mobility solutions.
