Electric vertical takeoff or landing (eVTOL) aircraft are set to change the world of urban air mobility completely. On June 15, 2025, Eve Air Mobility announced that it would be signing its first framework agreement for 50 eVTOL aircraft.
Eve Air Mobility, which is financially backed by Brazilian aerospace giant Embraer, signed this agreement with Revo, a São Paulo-based advanced urban air mobility (UAM) operator. The parent company of Revo is Omni Helicopters International SA. This agreement underscores Eve Air Mobility’s continued commitment to its partners at Revo, and it shows that operators are interested in the aftermarket support packages offered through the carrier’s TechCare program. Revo will become the launch customer for Eve Air Mobility’s aircraft, with the first delivery set to take place during the fourth quarter of 2027. The city of São Paulo is one of the world’s busiest cities for helicopter traffic, with around 2,000 daily takeoffs and landings.

Revo Chose Eve Air Mobility’s Aircraft For A Few Key Reasons

There are a few principal reasons why Eve Air Mobility was Revo’s chosen partner for its large-scale eVTOL expansion. These aircraft have been meticulously designed and come with a comprehensive support system. The company is also backed by the decades-old reputation of Embraer, according to comments from Revo’s leadership team.
The eVTOL aircraft Revo will be acquiring are set to be the cornerstone of an ambitious plan to modernize the company’s capabilities through offering a safe and sustainable product that will help the operator better connect customers across São Paulo. Revo operates a door-to-door mobility system, as it integrates luggage and car services with its scheduled helicopter services across southeast Brazil.
For example, the company operates daily services between Zona Sul and São Paulo International Airport (GRU), a trek that usually takes between 1.5 and 3 hours by car but can be easily completed with a simple ten-minute flight. With Eve Air Mobility’s eVTOL aircraft, Revo can slowly become a fully electric and sustainable operator, delivering a superior customer experience.

This agreement is a critical stepping stone for Eve Air Mobility, as it has established a strong partner in Omni Helicopters International. This will allow the manufacturer to begin pursuing its objectives of transforming urban air mobility.
